As we all know that disasters can happen in any time, the school today orgaized a Mock Drill on Earthquake so that we can atleast know something incase of an calamities such as an earthquake.
First the teacher divided themselves into groups of three with some students to help especially in rescue mission.
Mr. Sonam Dorji , Lopen Nado and the school caretaker formed a rescue team along with five students. Mrs. Tenzin Wangmo and Mrs. Yashoda Sharma formed a Health team with four students. Mr Phuentsho Dorji (Principal) worked out on the attendence team and finally Mr. Gayatri as a camera man.

Now as soon as the bell rang, which was a sign of an earthquake, the children ran to the ground escorted by the teachers. The attendance team quickly did the attendance and reports to the resucue team about the missing friends.

The Rescue team runs to the spots where the victims are and rescues one at a time to the health team for a help.

The whole things were done in such a manner that all the children as well as teachers enjoyed the drill. At the end of the day everybody had a satisfying work in their own field and a experince to share to their friends and families.
The event was jaw dropping and eye opening experience for both teachers and the students ....the goodness of the event thrilled us and finally occupied a decent space in my blog too...
