Royal Wedding Celebration

To mark the very important milestone in Bhutanese history for the celebration of the Royal Wedding. The school had decided with the community and resolved to celebrate the day by having a Khuru Tournament at the school.
There were six teams in total and the competition was held in a Yangphel style.

At 9:00 AM in the morning, the principal, teachers and students offered the prayers and well wises to the portrait of their Royal Couple. The traditional dances were also showcased for the community people.

The prizes for the Royal wedding card designed by the students and Reading competition were also given to the students by the principal.



After the cultural program mes, the khuru competition resumed. At the end of the day the winner Horgolla team too the cash prize of Nu. 1500 and the runners up team of Nu. 1000. The lunch and the drinks were also served by the school.
