School Picnic

Today the school celebrated a picnic which is part of a school plan. The picnic spot was chosen at the village temple which is few miles away from the school. The place was just breath taking as its on top of a hill from where one can see the whole Yangtse town and also the school.

The teachers took up the responsibility of cooking while the children engaged themselves in playing some games.
In the morning as soon as the children arrived, tea and biscuits were served followed by  juices in the afternoon.

The lunch was served at around 12 PM in the afternoon to the children. The teacher and other faculty members had lunch after them.

Before returning home, the teachers and the students carried out a cleaning campaign around the temple area as a social service.
