As a community service, the school today carried out a mass cleaning campaign starting from the school till Tongseng. All the teachers and students participated in this event. The posters and messages were prepared by the health incharge, Mrs. Tenzin Wangmo with the help of class VI students.
The main idea of the event was to, create awareness about the proper garbage disposal and to make our surrounding clean for healthy living.
Each student carried a sack and collected as many garbage as they could, going around the community. The Highest garbage collectors were awarded prizes by the school administration. Karma Drupchu (Cl. III) and Thinley Wangmo (Cl. V) took away the prizes. The collected garbage were brought to the school and stored in degradable and non-degradable sheds. Next campaign will be held in October.
