Today the teachers, students and parents signed and adopted
the School Discipline Policy. In the morning hour, the Principal of the school,
Mr. Phuntsho Dorji explained the policy to the parents and the students. From now on, the school shall abide by the policy
in case of any misdeeds committed by the children in the school. This comes as
a substitute for the abolishment of corporal punishment.

Mrs. Tenzin Wangmo said “now children have something to fear of.” Even Mrs. Lhamo is excited about the new policy that would keep the children at par from the wrong doings.
In the afternoon hour, the school showcased the mock drill on earthquake to the parents. The parents had a good show of it and were equally educated. Ap. Nidup Zangpo from Tongseng said “Children seem to know more than us and that all thanks to the teachers here in the school”.
At the end of the day, every one of us had marked a day to remember for a long time to come.

The school i found two yrs back is history now....the present team of staff is "walking the extra mile" in moulding the future of LIchen CPS in much better way...Cheers!!!...keep up the good work....
